Wingspan Expansions
Wingspan expansions are designed to be mixed with the Wingspan base game to add more diversity to the birds and their powers. We are planning to offer new birds from around the world, with one expansion per continent. The first expansion explores the birds of Europe.
European Expansion
In this first expansion, European birds feature a variety of new abilities, including a number of birds with round end abilities, abilities that increase interaction between players, and birds that benefit from excess cards/food.
The expansion also includes some new bonus cards and end of round goals, an additional tray for storing the growing collection of birds, purple eggs, extra food tokens, and a colorful new scorepad.

Oceania Expansion
This second expansion features the colorful and awe-inspiring birds of Oceania, along with new player mats and a new food type, allowing players to explore different strategies in this new environment. It also includes new bonus cards and more end-of-round goals, as well as a new color of egg.
Due to the sheer number of birds affected by the Australian wildfires around the time that this expansion was announced, Stonemaier Games donated $7,439 USD to WIRES, a wildlife rescue organization in Australia.
